Asthma is a chronic lung disease that affects about 1 in 12 people, and that number continues to grow. The disease inflames and narrows airways, thus causing periods of chest tightness, coughing, shortness of breath, and wheezing on a recurring basis.
If you have been diagnosed with asthma and have frequent severe attacks and active symptoms despite using preventer medications, you may be interested in a new investigational medication for the treatment of adults with severe asthma.
