Asthma is a chronic lung disease that affects about 1 in 12 people, and that number continues to grow. The disease inflames and narrows airways, thus causing periods of chest tightness, coughing, shortness of breath, and wheezing on a recurring basis.

Trial for Adults with Asthma

If you have been diagnosed with asthma and have frequent severe attacks and active symptoms despite using preventer medications, you may be interested in the Pathway Study. You may qualify for this study if:

  • You are between 18 and 75 years of age (inclusive)
  • You have been diagnosed with asthma for at least 12 months
  • You have been using an inhaled steroid and a long-acting bronchodilator for at least 12 months
  • You have had at least two severe asthma attacks (exacerbations) in the past year
  • You are experiencing troubling asthma symptoms

Pediatric Asthma Trial
