COVID-19 Variant Vaccine Studies in Columbus

Aventiv Research is currently participating in an investigational COVID-19 variant study at our Columbus, Ohio location. As new COVID-19 variants continue to evolve, concerns from increased transmissibility or anticipated reduction in neutralization by antibodies generated during previous infection or vaccination have increased. Clinical trials are a crucial part of advancing medical research to combat these evolving SARS-CoV-2 variant strains.

BioNTech SARS-CoV-2 multivalent RNA Vaccine Study

The primary objective of this clinical trial is to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of a SARS-CoV-2 multivalent RNA vaccine in the prevention of COVID-19 in healthy adults.

We are specifically looking for healthy adult volunteers who:

  • are 18 through 85 years of age
  • have received BNT162b2 vaccine (two-dose regimen) in either a clinical trial or as part of the government vaccination program at least 6 months prior to the first study visit and have not experienced COVID-19
    • OR
  • are COVID-19 vaccine naïve and have not experienced COVID-19
