Non-Dialysis Dependent Chronic Kidney Disease Clinical Trials in Columbus
Centricity Research is currently participating in an investigational Phase 1 non-dialysis dependent CKD study at our Columbus, Ohio location. With non-dialysis-dependent chronic kidney disease (NDD-CKD), your kidneys don’t work properly to remove waste from your blood to create urine while balancing salt, minerals, and hormones. Because of this, the normal processes that tightly regulate and restore iron throughout the body are thrown off and may lead to low iron levels. Eventually, you may develop another condition called iron deficiency anemia (IDA).
Non-Dialysis Dependent Chronic Kidney Disease Study
The main purpose of this Phase 1 study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of an investigational drug for people with non-dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease (NDD-CKD) and anemia.
You may qualify for this study if you:
- are 18 years of age or older
- have stage 2-5 chronic kidney disease
