Influenza (Flu) Vaccine Clinical Trials in Columbus
Influenza, commonly referred to as the flu, is a contagious respiratory illness caused by the influenza virus. It can cause a range of symptoms, including fever, coughing, sore throat, body aches, fatigue, and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea. Influenza can range from mild to severe and can be particularly dangerous for people with weakened immune systems, older adults, and young children. The flu is typically spread through respiratory droplets from infected individuals and can be prevented through vaccination, hand hygiene, and avoiding close contact with others who are sick.
Centricity Research is currently enrolling participants in a flu vaccine study at our Phoenix, Arizona location. Compensation may be available for time and travel for qualified participants.
