Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain Trials in Columbus
Aventiv Research is currently participating in an diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain study at our Columbus, Ohio location. Diabetic neuropathy is a type of nerve damage that can occur if you have diabetes. Depending on the affected nerves, diabetic neuropathy symptoms can range from pain and numbness in your legs and feet to problems with your digestive system, urinary tract, blood vessels and heart. Some people have mild symptoms. But for others, diabetic neuropathy can be quite painful and disabling.
Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain Clinical Trial
The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an investigational drug for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain in adults. You maybe be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have diabetic neuropathy
- Are willing to discontinue all pain medications you are using for diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain, except rescue medication, until the follow-up period
