Chikungunya Travel Vaccine Trials in Columbus
Aventiv Research is currently participating in a chikungunya (chik-un-GUN-yuh) travel vaccine study at our Columbus, Ohio location. Chikungunya is a viral disease transmitted to humans by infected mosquitoes whose symptoms may include a high fever and pain in many joints. There are currently no U.S. licensed vaccines to prevent chikungunya virus disease.
Chikungunya Travel Vaccine Study
The primary objective of this clinical trial is to evaluate the safety of an investigational vaccine in healthy adults and adolescents. You may qualify for this study if you are:
- 12-64 years of age and a healthy volunteer who is overtly healthy as determined by medical evaluation
