Bacterial Vaginosis Trials at Aventiv Research Women’s Health
Aventiv Research is currently participating in an Bacterial Vaginosis study at our Women’s Health location in Columbus, Ohio. Bacterial vaginosis is a type of vaginal inflammation caused by the overgrowth of bacteria naturally found in the vagina, which upsets the natural balance. Clinical studies are an important step to understanding the cause of and finding treatment for Bacterial Vaginosis.
Bacterial Vaginosis Study
The primary objective of the study is to assess the efficacy of an investigational drug for the treatment of Bacterial Vaginosis in postmenarchal females. You may qualify for this study if you:
- are female and at least 12 years of age
- have a clinical diagnosis of of bacterial vaginosis
Participants from 12 through 17 years old may participate where permitted and with appropriate consent from the parent(s)/guardian(s) and assent from the patient.
