Earlier this September, Columbus and Dublin Clinical Research volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and had the wonderful experience of helping to build a family’s home.
The house was completed in late December. It is a 4 bedroom, 1600 sq ft home, with a one-car garage located in Delaware, Ohio.
“ The fact that we all got to work together as a team outside of the office and meet the family was very rewarding. We got to know the family well and asked if we could host a Christmas gift exchange party for her and her family with our staff,” said Megan Collett, Research Coordinator at CCR.
The family graciously accepted their offer. Each staff member drew a name of one of the children and bought a gift from the child’s Christmas list. Dr. Arora gave the mother a YMCA membership and a picture of our staff at the Habitat for Humanity site.
There is a certain level of gratitude that comes with the opportunity of being able to help others, and Columbus and Dublin Clinical Research were honored to be involved with such an amazing family. Not only do we love to volunteer, we love OUR volunteers as well.
